Missing the Black Box videocasts?
This newest research-based videocast about language learning and teaching was completed months ago and I’ve been quite remiss in not blogging about it yet. This one is quite different: the whole team divvied up the work of bringing you a Throwback ThurSLAy version of our videocast. Normally we review articles published within the last five years or so, but this time, we each reviewed and summarized a seminal article in the history of Second Language Acquisition research.
We all benefit from looking back at the propositions and research that continues to so heavily influence the direction of our field. We’re indebted to Albert Fernandez for doing all the video work on this video, and I can guarantee you, it’s a lot more work than it seems. And as always, thank you for supporting the project and sharing the videos.
Now, let us take fifteen minutes of your time to fill you on on five of the most influential articles in second language learning and teaching in the past 40 years.
