What if a summer day changed your whole school year for the better?
Come join me on Friday, June 27 and see how one day of intense, collaborative curriculum mapping will make your 2014-2015 school year feel easier and smoother and filled with proficiency-based teaching and assessments. I’ll warn you, it’s not going to be a relaxing day of professional development, but it’s worth it for one day of work mapping out your school year.

Can you send me an example of a content map similar to what you would be developing on that day? Is your method musical/storytelling like TPR? I have only read some of your blog and am very impressed! Thanks for any additional info you could provide…
I am starting a new Spanish program through high school and am considering not getting a textbook at all… I have never used a textbook in my intro 9 week Spanish class, but the thought of developing curriculum for all the levels of Spanish class seems daunting…
Best,
Heather
I am so jealous! This sounds like a great day! But I can’t make it. I will be presenting at a Tech day in MA for MAFLA. I would be very interested in this if you ran a second one later in the summer 😉 I am creating a new curriculum for a new course next year, and reworking a curriculum also. Would have loved to collaborated 🙁 Have fun!
Ooh, I am actually toying with the idea of a Northeast version in July (I will be in RI) – stay tuned! 🙂
That would be awesome!
I decided that I’m too busy this year but it’s a definite possibility for future years! I am going to scope out locations, probably in Warwick, RI, this summer.
I’m going to drive 8 hours so I can change the way I do things! I’m a little fearful, but excited.
